EPC Project Management

EPC Project Management is a 5-day senior project delivery course delivered by Mars Training Centre UK in the energy and industrial hubs it serves — London, Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Al Jubail, and Kuala Lumpur — designed for project managers, project engineers, and senior delivery leaders working on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects in oil and gas, power, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

EPC projects compress engineering, procurement, and construction into a single contractual envelope, usually under a fixed lump-sum price. That structure rewards disciplined delivery and punishes loose ends. The senior project leaders who thrive in EPC are those who understand the interfaces — design to procurement, procurement to construction, construction to commissioning — and who manage them with the same rigour as the schedule itself.

Across five focused days, you will work through the full EPC project lifecycle, from front-end loading and FEED handover, through engineering and procurement integration, construction management and interface control, and commissioning and handover. The faculty are senior practitioners with EPC project leadership experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.

The week opens with the EPC lifecycle and front-end loading, moves into engineering and procurement integration, then into construction management on a major site, then into commissioning, handover, and EPC project controls, and closes with synthesis and a personal action plan.
