HSE Auditing Skills

HSE Auditing Skills is a five-day senior-level course delivered by Mars Training Centre UK across Europe, the Gulf and Asia, and online — for HSE managers, internal auditors and senior compliance leaders who carry the credibility of the organisation's safety, health and environmental performance.

An HSE audit is only as good as the auditor. The same report template can produce one auditor who finds the issue that prevents the next incident and another who walks past it on the way to a closed file. The difference is not template literacy. It is the ability to plan an audit to test real controls, to speak with frontline workers in a way that produces honest answers, to weigh evidence, to recognise the difference between paperwork compliance and actual conformance, and to write findings that lead to action rather than to defensiveness.

Across five focused days you work through the full audit life cycle aligned with ISO 19011, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 — planning, conduct, evidence, reporting, follow-through, and the audit-programme management that makes the work add up over time. The cases are drawn from the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East, and the work is delivered by senior practitioners with lead-auditor experience.

What You Will Learn
