ESG and Sustainability Reporting

ESG and Sustainability Reporting is a five-day senior sustainability-reporting course delivered by Mars Training Centre in London, Amsterdam, Dubai, Milan and Cape Town — designed for chief sustainability officers, heads of ESG, senior finance leaders and reporting practitioners responsible for building disclosures that satisfy investors, regulators and the public.

Sustainability disclosure is no longer voluntary. The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) has issued IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 as the global baseline. The European Sustainability Reporting Standards apply to companies operating in the European Union. The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations have been absorbed into many national reporting regimes. The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) remains the most widely used standard for impact disclosure. Investors are pricing climate, social and governance risk into the cost of capital — and stakeholders now scrutinise sustainability claims more closely than financial ones.

This programme equips senior reporting practitioners with a working command of the major ESG and sustainability frameworks, the data and assurance disciplines that underpin credible disclosure, and the governance that boards now expect. It is delivered by senior practitioners drawn from the Mars panel.
