Corporate Governance Masterclass

The Corporate Governance Masterclass is a five-day senior governance course delivered by Mars Training Centre at its international training centres — in London, Dubai, Geneva, Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur — designed for directors, company secretaries and senior executives who shape how their organisations are directed and controlled.

Governance has moved from a back-office compliance function to a board-level discipline that defines how organisations create value, manage risk and earn the trust of investors, regulators and the public. The UK Corporate Governance Code, the OECD Principles, and the broader push for stronger boards in the GCC, Europe and the United States have raised the bar for everyone who sits in a director's seat or supports those who do. Boards are now expected to evidence their decisions, their oversight and their ethics in ways that were optional a decade ago.

This programme gives directors and senior executives a working command of the governance frameworks that shape modern boards, the responsibilities of directors under UK and international law, and the practical mechanics of running an effective board. It is delivered across our international training centres by senior British practitioners drawn from the Mars panel, who carry the standards of UK governance practice to every venue.
