Lean Project Management

Lean Project Management is a 5-day senior course delivered by Mars Training Centre UK in London, Amsterdam, Munich, Dubai, and Tokyo — designed for project managers, programme leaders, and senior delivery professionals who want to apply lean thinking to project work without falling into the language traps of manufacturing transposed onto projects.

Lean was born in manufacturing, but its core ideas — value, flow, pull, waste, perfection — translate powerfully to project delivery when handled with care. Lean construction, lean engineering, and last-planner-style production planning have proven that projects can be made more reliable, less wasteful, and more predictable. This course is built for senior project leaders who want the working version of lean, not the slogan version.

Across five focused days, you will work through lean principles, value-stream thinking applied to project work, the Last Planner System and pull planning, lean engineering and design management, and the leadership behaviours that hold lean delivery together. The faculty are senior practitioners with lean project leadership experience in construction, engineering, and corporate project contexts.
