Energy Efficiency and Carbon Management is a five-day senior-level energy course delivered by Mars Training Centre across Europe, the Gulf, and Africa — in London, Amsterdam, Munich, Dubai, and Cape Town — designed for energy directors, sustainability heads, operations leaders, and senior engineers responsible for cutting energy use and carbon emissions across complex assets.

Energy is no longer just a cost line; it is a regulated, disclosed, and scrutinised dimension of business performance. The leaders who run energy and carbon well are the ones who can connect the metering data on the shop floor to the abatement curve on the boardroom wall — and then choose the right interventions, in the right sequence, at the right cost. Engineering retrofits, electrification, heat recovery, demand-side management, and process redesign each have a role, but only when matched to the operation in front of you and the regulatory regime above you.

Across five focused days, you will work through energy auditing, ISO 50001, marginal abatement cost curves, electrification and heat-recovery options, carbon accounting under the GHG Protocol, and the economics that determine which energy and carbon projects actually get approved. The cases are drawn from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East, and the work is delivered by senior practitioners with engineering and energy-leadership experience.
